Forceware 162.15 Beta

No Vista 64 drivers?

Yay for the 64 bit revolution, I'm really happy that my hardware is being properly utilized. :D

Why is it all the ones with 1000's of posts are the ones who give others crap here ?.

i guess it's because the people with 1000's of post are the ones who care about their own posts. its only some advice for you but hey you're right - i dont like it, so on that list you go i guess:)

:D Its always been that way for 64bit, Vista should change that when more adopt it, XP64 Pro support aint that bad now though.

To james.miller good, wont miss you, least my post are in topic and try to answer questions, not tell others how to type or spell.

These guys are hilarious, they put up drivers they have to remove due to sticking the wrong ones up etc..., they have to fully pull drivers because they ******* break things, like breaking Dx10, and i bet everyone still expects these jokers to release an awesome driver when the likes of Crysis etc.... gets here, keep dreaming everyone. :D :D :D

To be honest i have been round many forums today and there is a lot of people questioning why they have been removed, Yes they seemed to mess up DX10. But most people report great DX9 performance and for the first time many are getting better performance in Vista than in XP

DX10 is no loss just now due to lack of content anyway. I am very happy with this current release

In XP I went back to the 158.27's due to the fact the date on the 162.15's was from 2006!!!

Not for me, they've pulled them all now, you tried CTRL+F5.

I cant wait for when Crysis etc... gets here, see what balls up Nvidia do then, got major stockpiles of popcorn at the ready for when it all kicks off.

Imagine the uproar if Crysis was already here, and these were Nvidia's next drivers for it, the ones that broke Dx10. :D

No I did not refresh as it was last night or early hours of this morning I last checked.

I guess am going to have to uninstall these 162.15_forceware_winvista_64bit_international drivers now am installing the lost planet:extreme condition game i just bought :(

Nvidia drivers as of late are pathetic, when i was on my x1900 everything "just worked", with the green team even though they currently have the better hardware its like a bloody guessing game as to what driver to use so games actually work properly.

Good drivers. :D

Can now run Overlord on High @ 1440x900 with 4xAA with barely any frame rate hitches, big improvement over last drivers.

I'm using Vista 32 bit versions btw.

The same could be said of ATI...It was only about a month or two ago that ATI released some vista drivers which they then had to release a fix to stop them crashing vista...

Plus the drivers for the x1900 cards were useless for about the first 4 to 6months...i had to use powerstrip to get them to support different widescreen res..

I say both ATI & nvidia are about the same for driver quailty..

Even with the fix im sure they didn't have as many problems as the current drivers nvidia are putting out. Ive never seen so much driver swapping in my life, with ati i swapped drivers once a month, with nvidia every few days im looking for other revisions.
