ForceWare 169.02 released

Thanks for heads up, just noticed though the file size is different on the Nvidia site, so I cancelled the other site and started getting them from NV.

Working great for me these, just as good as the 169.01's, could be the same, could be a bit better, either way they'll do me as i like to keep up to date. :)

I had COH probs with the 01s couldn't even finish the bench, Also crysis crashed before the parachute scene, i went back to the 163.75s and crysis works albeit a slide show. Havent tried thes 02s yet

These improved my 3dmark05 score over the cd drivers (Nightly build 03/07/2007) by 7%

Amazingly, 06 has improved even more by 10%. Not ever seen this much change from installing new drivers on a gfx card before..

Not sure why the cpu scores would go up especially but I guess it is drawing on the screen:confused:

Just adding that it seems to crash occasionally, still testing..

Just thought I'd clarify this is a WHQL CANDIDATE and is still BETA dispite that website claiming it is full fat WHQL.

They are now full fat WHQL (as of yesterday the 31st at Nvidia), but only product supported is the 8800 GT, no mention of any other cards, so not sure if these will still work with all the 8 series like they did when they were beta.

Nope, Nvidia not let you choose your actual card model, if you choose 8800GT you get the above driver, if you choose 8800GTX/Ultra you get 163.69.

Must be to give the 8800GT that new Transparent AA.
