A few reviews have surfaced but these are about the first public photos I believe. Not a fan at all, prefer the standard RS colours, especially for the price this thing commands. Oh and it seems the car isn't fully loaded either, will still have to pay extra for satnav, red leather etc etc!

I saw it on the Saturday. It did a few laps with the supercars in a half hour session in the afternoon.

Not the best thing to show off the performance by putting it side by side with F430's, GT3 RS's, Diablo's, GTR's, etc. Made it look and sound distinctly average.

It does look great in matt black though.
 
I don't get why they make such a nice looking and quite powerful car front wheel drive. My mates got the focus rs, another has the vxr and once you hit proper power is torque steers like a pig.

Ok, I’ll chip in here….. Seems some confusion over the updates, The 500 features new larger airbox, bigger intercooler, new larger exhaust downpipe, uprated fuel pump and only a small boost increase. Which suggest me they have laid the foundation for much bigger power increase later through Mountune.

The other tweaks are the red brake calipers, badges, unique numbered and Carbon fibre effect parts on the centre console…. Plus a Red detailed interior instead of the Blue on the standard RS
They are fully spec'd up, with only two options, Full Red Leather Recaro and touchscreen DVD Satnav.
I think all 101 UK cars sold out in 12 hours.

Personally I think it looks the muts nut….. ….. If only I had a spare 35K kicking around, is it expensive ? know more than any other car that costs 35K…. Which is a scary/crazy amount of money to spend on any car, unless you have it to hand !!!........ Having driven the standard car, I'd have one…..:D
 
Everything on the £20k more RS500 can be put on by pumaspeed for....£3k.

Now consider you can buy a brand new one via ford configurator for £30k, or one off pistonheads 100 miles delivery mileage for £27k.

So £27k + £3k + £1k for matt wrap = RS500 rep ?
