Ford Focus styling help

Thanks :), from what i can see from that angle it looks good. I think I'll look into lowering it before i get the alloys.

When I changed my rears I didn't bother unbolting anything. If you compress the spring it pops out with a little force, and you can put in the new one. I think there's a pictorial guide floating around on FFOC somewhere on how to do it.

That sounds like a nice easy solution :D, think I'll try it that way.

Would something like this have everything i need?. I'm going to be servicing it soon and replacing the front discs so need to get a few tools together.

Thanks for that amb :), i think 16s look really good on the Focus. If i cant find any 17s for a good price I'll be going for some 16s after seeing yours.

Are you going to fit these yourself Tom?, let us know how you get on if you are.

Ive recently got the genuine Ford exhaust trim, got it for £15 from ebay and with a quick polish with some Autosol its looks brand new.

Funny that this thread has been bumped as i took some better pics of mine today with the intention of updating the thread. I'll stick them up in a bit as Ive got to drive my sister to Padiham in a few mins.

Just need to get mine lowered and some better alloys and it'll look great.

Black cars are pretty popular on my street :D

:( i can provide some more pics as its my sisters boyfriends car. Funnily enough hes selling it asap and buying a Focus as he cant afford to keep it :D.

I know my cars no type R but i like it and im really pleased with the way it looks, especially for a first car.

Ohh.. Forgot about this thread! Am just off down to wash my car then I'll get some new pics now shes all colour coded an with new interior! :D

Nice pics Mark_A.. You have good surrounding for pics, my surrounding are all terraced houses.. :(

Yeah, it would be even better if the sky was blue for once. I think i need to get some sort of filter for my SLR to make the sky look less washed out?

I cant complain though my car is actually caked in dirt but it looks nice and clean in the pics :D.

Not a mod as such as these should be pretty similar to the OEM discs and pads fitted but will make a visual difference as mine have seen much better days. Will hopefully be fitting these over the weekend, not bad at all for £41 delivered :).

Cool, thats my next mod along with some 17" alloys. £80 isnt bad at all, are you using them with the stock dampers?

Strut braces aren't really needed for the Focus as the bulkhead is very rigid anyway and the struts don't flex much. People mainly fit them on Foci for looks! :)

I got some of those Mintex brakes and pads the other month Mark.. They are so much better than the standard ones! :)

Thats good to hear, cant wait to fit them :). That steering wheel looks smart, i really want one but they're a bit too pricey. I'll keep checking ebay tho.

new rims planned for it?

other than that, very smart.

is the A3 down the road modified at all?

Cheers :), I'm pleased with it, Ive polished and waxed it since that picture and its now looking very shiney. Well it was until it was covered in dust again.

I'm considering new wheels and getting it lowered but it all depends if i can get some decent condition rims cheap. I dont want to spend loads of money on it really.

Not sure about the A3, its the first time Ive seen it there, theres usually 3 black cars parked up but i thought 4 black cars was worth a picture.
