Maybe, but they rate the Standard 1.7 Puma above the Cup ;)
The cost of the FRP means it gets a lower rating

Evo's comment on the standard Puma.

I bet I can find a few negative points about the Puma....they must have double printed the 550 Maranello's write up :p

Absolutely, same goes for modern day Renault & Peugeot/Citroen engines I believe. It seems you have to go back 10 years to be able to tune these manufactures engines to get decent gains for acceptable money.

For modern car's your always best going Jap to get super-tuning for fair-money! The VAG group give fairly decent results for not a huge amount of cash on both petrol & diesels.

Jap cars are just more accessible when it comes to tunning, so much more variety in parts and the like :).

Think the NA route that euro cars like the Puma and Clio take doesnt really help either (could say the same about the CTR tbh). Turbo route is just easier and cheaper to tune (VAG Turbos like you say for example).

Thanks for the post sam, just another question...... Whats your insurance like if ya dont mind me asking?

Your 18 right?

tom

He got a good ish deal cause his insurance company messed up his quote and put it down as a regular Puma when he said it was a Racing Puma.

Lucky Git :p

Will have to try add it to "Daddys" fleet insurance then.

I could really do with the NCB though :(
