format drive in windows 7?

i have formatted a new drive, but it dosnt show up in my computer..

any thoughts why?

it says "Healthy (System, Active, Primary Partition)

i think it says this because i just had xp installed on it, but then i installed windows 7 to the drive i am using now.

its formatted but it dosnt show up

How did you format it?

What is showing in Disk Management (right click on Computer & pick manage)?

EDIT: Does it have a drive letter assigned in Disk Management?

i did format it. there is no drive letter assigned. the drive is the top one named "disc"

its ok now, all i had to do was give it a drive letter.
