Hi guys,
Over the weekend I had a bit of trouble with my secondary HDD. I was using a third party encryption software to encrypt the disk. However halfway through the encryption process when our power cut out. When we finally had power again, I booted up the machine only to find that I can't access or encrypt or re-encrypt the HDD. So I went to format the HDD but it just comes up with 'Windows cannot format this disk.' So I went into disk management and tried to format it in there and delete the volume. However it came up with the same message.
The secondary HDD is a 80gb Seagate IDE HDD. It's not overly important if it's broken to buggery, however it just will be inconvenient.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks
