Formatting old drive?

Just got a Caviar Black for a new build and using my old Hitachi Deskstar as storage for files which I don't use much.

Currently the Deskstar still has my old operating system and files on. What would be the best way to format it for use?

Insert your Windows install disc, boot from it, and on the set up, before the install, you have an option to format currently installed hard drives in your PC.
