Formatting Question

When formatting a HDD using disk managment, Can you format more than one drive at the same time?

I've just installed two 1TB Samsung F1's and I'm only on the 2nd partition on the first drive (50/50 partition).

Check quick format, there is no reason to do a full one.

I always thought a quick format just erased all the data on the drive.

I take it I was wrong then?

A full format just adds in error checking. If you wanted to check for errors it's best to use the manufacturers utility on the whole disk.
