My main concern with the highlights is the time they're aired. Having to stay up until midnight on a Sunday night after a long weekend is almost impossible.
The majority of races I recorded, then watched them in the evening.
I spoke to a Sky chat assistant last week, asked for a price for F1 in UHD - nothing else. £61 a month!

I like Brundle but can't stand that idiot Croft. It's irrelevant to me anyway as when my contract is up at the end of April Sky is finally going for good. I pretty much lost interest in F1 last year anyway because the races were so boring apart from a couple.

Not Freeview, but if you use a VPN to appear as though you're not in the UK you can order F1TV.
They've got big discounts at the moment and, I would guess due to some bad programming on their site, you can stack multiple discount codes so you can get access for the year for just over $30.

Oh, interesting. I assume the VPN will be needed everytime to view? And I assume viewing is only possible on the website?

Probably worth pointing out that if you buy and they find out you’re using a VPN then you will lose access and won’t be eligible for a refund

Found out today that Virgin Media have removed SkysportsF1 from our subscription... WTF?

Looks like Sky are doing the F1 channel for £10/m from March 1st.

I’ll have to see if Liberty Media’s streaming service works in France when it goes live as the other option is a Canal+ Sport subscription.

Just had some more details about the offer come through. The F1 for £10pm deal is for TWO years and is guaranteed not to increase in price either.
If you look around you can get some Entertainment deals for around £15pm if you don’t want to take one of my deals. That means F1 in HD for around £25pm. The £10pm F1 deal expires at the end of March.

Lol really beyond my power! Seems like it was a lot to do with a personal beef rather than any performance issue. The new head of F1 doesn’t like Ted for some reason.
