Formula 1 Testing Silverstone 2006 (revised)

Its basically on all day. They break for lunch for an hour or so though.
 
Think the only days I stand a chance of making are the 26th or 27th...not sure yet as am in Birmingham Wednesday night to see Kaiser Chiefs.

Don't mind if I don't get to go though, will catch a test maybe in June and I am off to Monza in September anyway :p (Just to rub it in!)

I got me Sigma 70-200 today, so it should be enough.


Anyone from London? never been to silverstone and don't wanna go on me own.
 
I may be there at the end of April. A colleague of mine suggested a trip for a couple of days, so I may grab this opportunity as I have never been to a Silverstone before and don’t drive. It would be nice to meet you guys.

i will be there hopefully on all off the days. would be nice to meet up with you guys. im still learning to would be nice to get advice of the more experienced people :)
 
I'll be going down on the 27th, never done any motorsport photography before so it should be good fun.

I'm looking for lens advice, mainly for this event. If you've got any ideas, I've got a thread here :)
