My Sigma 70-300 APO came yesterday, so far I'm impressed. I've noticed camera shake's a bit of an issue (never used a telephoto before), will bringing my tripod be any use?

Donn't bother with a Monopod, the 100-400L IS is light enough to hand hold all day.antc said:well hopefully im all set now, have my new lens![]()

I believe it kicks off around 9am.
A monopod is only realyl useful if you have a lens too heavy to handhold, such as mine! All others should be fine handheld.
Good news on the lens purchase antc! I guess you went to a local retailer?
