It's been dead for a long time IMO.
Dead would be zero posts created and nothing new in months. Some forums are like that because they never took off.

Plus Val freakin Kilmer often posts there
Nah, I believe it's him, the way he posts and the anecdotes he tells, I don't believe he gets someone to do it. He says he has 2 women who work on websites for him, but he posts to Reddit himself. Of course, I've never actually seen him posting, so I'm just going on what he says. How do you know that? These people usually have PR people post for them.
I was waiting for someone to trigger me but everyone seems to be rather pleasant at the moment even in the thread I made asking for advice on women. 5 years ago I would have been torn to bits in that thread.

Slow then compared to what it used to be from 2005 onwards.
All the amusing people got banned years ago.
I've no idea what was online in 2005 but tonight...

Was going to post exactly this. GD used to be a fun place full of silliness with the odd serious thread/question. However mods cracked down of the silliness for what ever reason and now it's full bitter people complaining how the world ain't what it used to be.As much as i like GD, the 'hot topics' have been done to death to the point where we only get the same posters talk about how outraged they are about Muslims/political correctness/gender stuff. The dreaded eBay scam threads look more exciting than ever by comparison!
