At the end of the day - if someone wants to shop around the net for better priced 360s, they will. I could go into ******* and mention any competitor...would I be thrown out? NO. It's really, really pointless.

Atleast Gilly does a good job, although Davey was good due to his console owning background.

Written down on a forum read by thousands potentially is a different matter completely.

Go stand in front of the XBOX360 stand in any high street shop and tell everyone that picks up a box that they're cheaper at such and such a place down the road. See how long you're there for

Having had numerous conversations with staff and other customers about competitors, there has never been any problem. People shop around, just because it isn't in print here doesn't mean they won't go elsewhere. People chat on MSN, teamspeak, in person.

I think the message is "Them's the rules and if you don't like them go elsewhere. If you break them we will make you go elsewhere, and if you argue...probably the same thing."

Aha, some rules that make sense. Always did seem a bit odd that you could mention some places but not others.

Didn't OcUK sell Xbox's for a while a few years back? I remember they were only up for a short while before it was decided that it wasn't possible to compete on price with the big retailers (Supermarkets etc). Perhaps OcUK should offer a This week only on 360 hard drives...please

Any chance of software being sold as well as hardware, perhaps an expansion into the Wii (because by all accounts its gonna be big).

Goon! I've spoken to the manager at my local **** store quite a bit, he realises that people will shop around. When the 360 was launched he and staff where giving advice to customers on how to get one. I understand that the forums are paid for by Spie, but stopping people from mentioning competitors won't do anything. Most people on here are web savy anyway, so searching through the web isn't any trouble.

But anyway...only problem I can see is having a Leeds fan in charge of the place

Anything is possible, as far as I have gathered it looks to be a bigger push than last time, they have the right products in this time.

They did sell them a while ago yes.

I would agree with the TWO offer, but on a VGA cable.
