Just formatted my computer and forgot about having to re-install the black OcUK theme. Clicked onto the forum and oh my god this blue theme is absolutely disgusting! It's far too bright, its burning my eyes and the white on blue is really difficult to read :o

Anyone else despise the old blue theme after going to the black? :p

Also when is the official black theme coming into play?
 
I still use the blue theme, I much prefer the look of it. I've never installed the black theme, it looks horrible in pics. Blue is king.
 
Blue is better, just because my sig is viewable.

*edit* Wow, just installed the user script, and my sig is still viewable, all is good with the cosmos, and I actually prefer it.

But it's not really black is it? It's various shades of grey.

Calibrate your monitor, and don't leave it at eye searing out-of-the-box brightness like a noob :p
 
Oh wow, I've just had a go - it's such a change! I think I'll use this at work too so people don't think I'm slacking for the 19th time when they see that my screen is bright blue!

I agree totally, even on a good quality and calibrated monitor I think white on black looks awful, my eyes just can't cope with it. If I go to any websites that use white on black, I just have to hit ctrl-alt-cmd-8 to invert it to be able to read it.

I feel inclined to try that keyboard combination to see if it works :o Cue my PC shutting down...
 
I use the blue theme at the moment - But I'd prefer them to release the dark theme officially so I can change it on the board instead of an addon :(
