September 11th. It was closed last year I think, dam times goes quickly.

I would assume it will be.

iirc it was only for two or three hours, something like 11/12 till 1/2.

It is closed for a few hours during the war memorials... but for 9/11 it was closed all day

It is the forums being disabled, so it isn't possible to only close certain sections... unless an Admin goes around changing permissions of each forum

It is because that's what the Americans called it, so now if you say 11/9 people will think "what on Earth is he on about" whereas they will know straight away with 9/11
