As you may (or may not) have noticed, the forum URL has changed again.

We are now back on https://forums.overclockers.co.uk so please update your bookmarks accordingly. The old URL should redirect but that may not happen indefinitely.

The forums are now hosted separately from the shop.

Please report any issues in this thread.

You may see some performance problems - In this case, please try clearing your internet cache/cookies as that should resolve it.

We are aware of the CAPTCHA message when logging in.

Thanks.

Logged me out again (again).
Maybe a stupid question but do you have the box ticked to stay logged in?

It's a mess. It works, then it don't work, then the site layout is all clustered missing layouts or plain text or it cannot connect. It aint my cache or browser as I never browse the forum on the phone that I'm currently on.
I'm getting similar to that from time to time as I move around but then a refresh brings it back. It's being looked at.

I found that overclockers.co.uk/forums gives a 404 error but overclockers.co.uk/forum redirects to forums.overclockers.co.uk. I don't know if this is of interest to anyone....

Both of these redirect successfully for me.

I've stopped getting those slowdowns now - How is it for you today @ChrisD. and @MissChief ?

/edit - And as soon as I typed that, it seemed to go slow for a moment or two but not to the extent it did yesterday.

To help track this down, please post exactly what's not working.

Your platform (PC or mobile, if mobile, which device, android or iPhone).
OS (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Browser
ISP

Anything else that could be pertinent.

Thanks.

Nope, will update if it does. What has changed?
We've added a new sprocket to the ip detector which pipes traffic through a brownian motion generator before embedding a unique reference that's tested against known bashes before being forwarded to the server request input flange.

(in all seriousness, we've changed the hamster feed)

Did you see any SEO benefits from having the forum in a subfolder vs on the subdomain?
SEO has always worked really well on the forums. Too well, that's part of the reason we've shifted back to how we are now.

Been working ok since the change was made for me.
Excellent news, thank you. It's been perfect for me as well.

Thank you to everyone who’s posted in here, it’s been useful.

Looks like we’re sorted now and I think it’s actually been snappier to respond this afternoon.
