forums incredibly slow for anyone else, or just me?

Everything still perfectly fine here. All pages fully loading within 1 second as usual.

However around 1 out of every 25 requests is taking slightly longer than usual, but still under three seconds.

What are the ping stats like? Anyone done any trace routing? I'm on my iPhone so wont be able to do that till tomorrow morning.

It actually seems ok today. Just as the wind has died down. Maybe the wind was blowing in the wrong direction and stopping the data getting to my laptop. That's how the internet works,right?

when i brought it up in the customer service bit bailey said he'd get the web service people to look into it.

this morning im not having any problems, so the OcUK elves might have done their magic

The interweb is very hit & miss for me, that said, I'm using a dongle with my laptop in my HGV!

I'm currently in Altrincham, Manchester, and the forums (and web generally) is rocking along despite my "great speed" :o



When I'm up in Cumbria, if I'm lucky, I get over 500kb/s!

My Virgin media 30MB package at home absolutely flies, 3.5MB/sec d/load speeds etc, love it.
 
Slow and non responding forums lately?

Probs a thread on it somewhere but i haven't seen it on the first page of here so thought i'd make one.

So anyone else notice ocuk forums being slow or just not loading at all lately the past few days. Are they aware of the problem if so any eta on when it will be sorted? Everywhere else works ok just ocuk acting up a bit lately.
