Forums running slow?

The forum and the main site is very slow for me, has been for a few days.

Yeah I have seen a few "The database has lost connection" type errors when browsing the forums recently. I come back later and all is good again, but it was a VBulletin style error message.

ive had a few issues with the forums here where pages sometimes take a long time to load, though im not sure if this linked to my ISP Virgin Media, as they have had some router issues lately.

Past midnight and the forums slow down, been the same for a few days.

THought this might just be me, but a while I have noticed when I hit the book mark it wont connect to teh site or take a really long time, sometimes even clicking to teh next page etc.

It seems to occur just after midnight.

Yep. From midnight onwards the forum runs poorly.

Does anyone else find the read/unread posts icon next to each thread isn't always updating right? I used to be able to go to a thread in GD (or any other section), then return to GD and the thread would show as read, but now I have issues where it still shows up as unread and if I click go to the first unread post it takes me to stuff I have already seen, even sometimes to the first post if it is a new thread.

There are times I don't have the issue, but it seems to have become more frequent over the last few weeks/months.

I get pauses at random times during the day, never really noticed a pattern but its definitely during the day and not around midnight (mostly because I'm in bed at around 9/10pm lol)

Just had this a moment a go, took about 8 seconds or so for the GD section to load up, wasnt even a partial load and wait but a complete white screen with about:blank in the address bar and then it loaded instantly.
