Forza 2: No AA in final version

I thought the game looked, and played, great. But that's just me..

The more i play it the more i am enjoying it tbh. I haven't even touched it on the pad lol

The AA thing is a sore point because that was one of the big selling points was it had 4xAA. The jaggies can be really distracting a lot of times, some folk hate them, some folk don't mind them. Personally they do bug me when i am driving in amongst the traffic.

Just want to play the full game now tbh and start my career lol

Although I think this demo points to an average upcoming game on all fronts I will say one thing...

Get out your PS2 and play GT4 for 10 mins.

Then reload Forza and then moan about "so called next gen"

Its streets ahead of that and PGR3, even if a little bit "dissapointing"

Let me make it clear what I am saying because you seem to have misunderstood.

I said that Turn 10 have no right to make out that having 60fps is some AWESOME HUGE MEGA ACHIEVEMENT which they are wizards for being able to pull off. Why do I say this? Because since ten years ago, consoles with a TENTH of the Xbox 360's power were producing racing games which ran at that framerate. On the Dreamcast it was a GIVEN that a game would be 60fps, and only a handful were 30. Yet now machines are 1000% faster, somehow it is something they deserve a special recognition for? What?!

I do not know about the 360's hardware capabilities but if a PS1 or DC can push out 60fps games, then surely to god a 3.2GHz Xbox 360 in 2007 can do the same, but add some AA to it

Got a 360 and have to agree with this its not to much to expect form a next gen console thats been out for well over a year

There are no excuses for Sony's or Ms's constant lies as they are all found out in the end

It just so happens that Forza 2 highlights MS's with "free AA with no performance loss" which is a pretty big whopper

Saying that I will download the demo and hopefully enjoy some good racing (after all thats what its about at the end of the day)

Does when it's supposed to be 'next-gen' tbh

Yet another, band around the buzz-words without knowing anything about the technology involved kinda guy are you? It's not next-gen any more, its current gen. Secondly, there is only a finite amount of processing power (either GPU or CPU) available to developers. Trust that they have only included 2xAA in game mode for a very good reason.
