Really looking forward to this game after watching a video on Gametrailers.com.

I never played the XBox version of Forza 1 but I wish I had now. This game looks like it's going to be a real gem, especially the likes of me who's a bit of a petrol head.

The video in question displayed a few short clips of the suspension physics and damage (LIEKOMFGDAMAGE!!!ONE") in what looked like the games actual graphics but pre-rendered of course.

I might go buy Forza 1, do you reccomend I do? I have TDU coming on friday but I feel I must play Forza 1. It looks like a petrolheads dream game and will compliment Test Drive Unlimited well. I'm glad I have a 360, I gotta thank my girlfriend as she bought it for my 21st :D

I can't blummin' wait!

Did anyone happen to catch the new pics when they were put up on xboxyde a couple of hours ago, word is they were the offiicail ones released a day early. However they were soon taken down again, but first signs don't tend to be good from the guys that did manage to see them.

Yep ive seen them and they were miles better then them ones we saw before but still i dont know i felt underwhelmed was hoping for better.

Im not sure they really are the official ones what were put up i suppose will find out tommorow. :)

Do you have any reasonable reason not to own one of the best driving games on the Xbox?

I'll put it like this. I haven't seen a single pic or video of Forza 2, but I know I want it, and it alone is tempting me to buy a 360. It's ace, get it.
 
If it's anywhere near as good as the original then it will be a great addition to my collection :D
 
This looks like another trademark 360 graphics upgrade tbh. The original Forza was fantastic but I'm not sure I want to spend £40 to make it look nicer.

Should have AA I would have thought. Only reason PGR3 didnt was because they had to rush it for launch.
 
What are guys expecting? I've not seen a PC or console racing game look that much better, bar perhaps GT Legends. Look at the environments inlcuding that sky, and those cars must be at least 20-30k pollies each (which is a lot for a game btw).

Have you not seen the video detailing the damage and physics (link in first post)? I don't think the GFX are that important, and I haven't played Forza 1, but I think it looks great so far.

At the end of the day, it's the gameplay that makes a racing game as you hardly ever see the exterior of the car while racing. The best comment I have on the screens is the view distance and AF you can see. Much better than PGR3 which has, imho, terrible graphics.
 
Don't they have to factor in huge amounts of damage on the cars in Forza? My memory is a bit fuzzy but as I remember you could reall mash up the car. Maybe the graphics have to suffer a bit to allow for that?
