Braking line on until I get a feel of the game and know the tracks, after that it is turned off and never turned on again.

Only aid I use is "no clutch" manual.

Everything else is off. Always has been, always will be.

Thanks for the replies, y'all! Think I'm going to persevere with it off, but maybe stick braking-only on for multiplayer where there's no rewind option

I've tried having the braking line off and you can get round the track fairly quickly, if I got the track to myself , however if I'm chasing down other cars or being chased then I forget what braking is and end up in the nearest wall
