Forza 4

I like this suggestion video off of the previous one. It's pretty close with camera positions and body roll.

So is it just Fanatec who are releasing a wheel for this? No doubt that will be £30K to buy or something ridiculous.

Fortunately, no. Unfortunately its a remaining choice between a Madcatz wheel or a gimmicky wireless hand held controller with no pedals.

:(

In one interview at E3, there was mention of another manufacturer who they are working with on a wheel, but they couldn't mention it.. since the Madcatz/Fanatec and MS Speed wheel where all on display there, there is hope we may see another wheel before too long!

The 360 desperately needs a decent enough wheel at the £120 range comparable in quality to a Logitech DFGT kind of thing, clutch isn't necessary (I never use the one on my Fanatec), just good FFB and some semblence of build quality..

Hey guys quick question, I've preordered the limted edition of Forza 4 and was wondering, will i get all the bonus cars in-game for free?, or will i have to buy them?

In FM3 you still had to buy the cars with the inagme credits. I imagine it's the same in FM4. Apparently you will be gifted certain cars if you have played FM3, not sure how it works but its based on career level, cars bought etc

I felt ripped off by the LCE last time so will settle on the standard version.

Yeah thought it'd be like that, oh well no easy time at start like with Forza 3 Ultimate Ed. :(

Like I said, if you have played FM3 a lot you will be gifted few of the cars from your FM3 garage into FM4. No specific details have been released but that's what T10 said at e3.

Slightly off topic, although not much, I'm buying a 360 so that I can see what all the fuss is about regards Forza 3, and just wanted to know if it's worth getting the Ultimate version over the vanilla one?

Many thanks in advance:)

Game or Gamestop only. :(

It's ... disappointing. At least there was some price competition on the Forza 3 Collectors edition.

Do you think I'd be making a mistake selling my xbox and MS wheel to get into pc sims and a G27? I just can't justify the cost of a pc build and the G27 without selling my xbox.

Are the sims a marked improvement physics wise? FM4 looks good but I'm bored by the prospect of it's handling if it's anything like FM3.

If you are after really pure sims, the PC is the place to be, but in some ways, I still prefer the consoles because GT/FM etc do offer reasonable physics in most aspects, but have some sense of 'fun' that take the edge of something that can be quite dry.

FM4 has an interesting new approach to physics, rather then use some complex algorithms to model the tyres, they are using Pirelli test data directly, so it should be a nice step up from FM3.

On the subject of wheels, I would go for a Fanatec GT2, with the basic pedals, it's around the G27 price, but it works on all platforms, so it doesn't limit you should you go multi-platform at any point, and it's a top notch wheel to boot.

The Fanatecs are the best wheels but I've heard a lot of people having all sorts of issues with them plus support being very poor . . . not worth the hassle and expense over a G27 imo.
