Forza 4

Quick question...

If i chose not to import my forza 3 save and started form zero, is the any way to import it now ?(im level 21 in forza 4)

or can it not be done ?

Well i just picked up the game now, had one race and took all aids off bar the racing line and damage while i get a feel for it! Should be interesting to see what its like to gear up and down in a faster car rather than the little fox! Now waiting for this disc to install!

How the hell do you submit a photo to the competition on the Forza facebook page?

1) go to your my forza and go to view all to be able to download photos
2) post it onto the wall with the comment "Photomode Competition Week 2
Gamertag: "

By default the wall only shows things posted by t10.

Anyone else find it really hard to pick breaking points out on some of the tracks in this game? I just rage quit because I just could not get an R2 DBR9 around Hockeheim without going off, or breaking too early for corners (and then bizarrely still understeering off at 40MPH ). Thing is I know the track pretty well from past games, but just can't do it in this.

Still finding myself not mad keen on Forza 4.

I've not done any of the drift events on rivals yet. What's a good car for me to pick up and mod, and how should I be modding it to turn it into a decent drifter?

RWD, for a start go for about 350-400bhp, any more and you'll have your own back end wrapped round your front end (ooh la la!)

Its hard to explain how to tune for a drift, its more a case, with me anyways, of keeping tunings stock, putting on race suspension/brakes/weight reduction/lsd/arbs at the least, then sport or race tyres, again depending on the car & power, then wrok on tuning from there, read description of each part in the tuning menu, get out on a tuning run and tune on the fly really, as much as I can do it, I find it hellish to explain.

Try out my E39 M5 in the club shared section, it was a racer but the setup is a great beginner drift setup from what I have found, see how you find it and lemme know and that might help establish more of what you need and how you can do it!

Suspension-wise for drifting you want a full race setup, with ~3° negative camber on the front, ~3.5°-4° on the rear. On the front you also want as much caster as you can to help the front wheel grip when sliding, I normally use ~5°, although I've seen people put it up to 7°, but I find that makes the car really twitchy. You also want to make the front ARB a bit softer than the rear to aid front end grip, the values for that completely depend on the car though.

ARGHHHHH!!!

Why, why can't the game allow the laps to be increased in career?

3 is just simply not enough for R3/2/1 races???

It's driving me nuts, I want a proper race, at least 15 laps so I can hone in the car and get some decent laps in! Not barge my way past the AI to get to 1st in the first couple of bends...

Completely agree. I've just hit year 7 and the races are now getting to 4/5 laps in length which is much better, and saves the mad 'at any cost' dash to the front for the first lap or two.

bc the long lap races come later to the bore the hell out of people? Im thankful they dont implement 100lap races early on.

Note I said 'option'.

Some times it's nice to have an arcadey 3 lap race, but I would like the option to spend at least 10 mins racing, perfecting my lines and making use of my tunes.

Not as I said, a dash to the front in the first bend barging my way through.

Last night I had a R3 race, used a BMW, it was brilliant, as I was playing fairly by outbraking but avoiding collisions then I realised... By the second lap the AI 1st and 2nd was about a 2 seconds ahead and I had one lap to catch up... No chance.
