Forza 4

@Reaper - I just downloaded your Camino setup and tried a lap at Le Mans.... HOW THE **** CAN YOU DRIVE THAT THING?? It's like a matress with wheels and a comedy sized V8.

you need to change your driving style, by which i mean go at 1mph round the corners with a small amount of throttle on to slide the back round slightly, then keep the power down once youve controlled the wheelspin on the straight and try and keep it in a straight line

if the worst comes to the worst you could try putting TCS on (but bear in mind i havent tried it with TCS on yet)

About the braking, you do brake quicker if you don't engage abs though I have generally found that if you brake just below the threshold for abs you still leave 2 long black lines. Though if you want you could always go into the set up and reduced the braking pressure for the cars you want :)

Is there a 3D option for this game? I can't wait to see how good this game looks on my LG 47" LED 3D TV, the screenshots look absolutely amazing, probably the best graphics I've seen on a console so far.

"Speaking of which, it has also been revealed that Forza 4′s cars will boast a polygon count of over 1 million compared to 400,000 in Forza 3, resulting in a staggering level of detail that, dare I say it, could surpass Gran Turismo 5 which had half the number of polygons for its Premium models at 500,000.

hate to tread old ground once again, but consider this: GT5 has 200 premium models with 500,00 polygons along with a further 800 cars downgraded to 100,000 polygons. Forza Motorsport 4′s entire roster of over 500 cars will potentially have twice the amount detail of GT5′s Premium models at over a million polygons"

Is that true? ^

Like many things, having a lot of polygons doesn't always mean your models are superior, it's how you use them that counts.

If the F4 models do indeed have double the polygon count of the premium GT5 cars, then I have to say I wonder where they've put them. That's a huge amount more which you should be able to notice.

Really getting the hang of the wheel now, but got AGES to go on this game

One thing i've noticed is that i'm starting to prefer purer, mid-engine type cars across all the classes which whizz round corners, but it's so tempting to just go sideways..

Really enjoying the game, free cars are a bonus too. Usually good at drifting but struggling to control the slides using the controller, just seems to snap back violently when countersteering.

Also thought I'd done a good few races, looked at my profile and done 3.3% lol :-)

Anyone know how to stop voice chat in online games dimming out the engine note? It's really annoying.

So far I'd had a dutch guy playing really crap euro-trance at full volume, and two french guys who wouldn't STFU.

The only car i've had to buy is a GT2 one, but that wasn't until season 8, but the ammount of money you get overall basically negates the cost of it.

When I was playing with the club the other night it sounded like someone was juggling saucepans badly.

Has anyone managed to get into an online race this evening? 3 times I've tried and it just sits on the damn 'finding lobby' screen and wont do anything until I drop back to dashboard and restart the game.

Getting ****ed off now.
