Oh I'm so glad Mr Latte has come back... AGAIN...
This thread will be so much better for it.
And thats why this game will fall flat again. they will add pointless soccer car modes instead of proper qualification rounds instead.
The thing is, most of the stuff i mentioned above your posts ARE OPTIONAL and CAN be turned off easily.
they can add those features to make the hardcore AND casual fans happy. why cant they cater for both?
idiots.

PUBLIC LOBBIES! Mega happy chappy![]()
We got a shedload ton of stuff yesterday

- Community clubs - can share cars/paints/tunes
- Autovista Mode to explore key cars, with special challenges for each one
- Alternate time of day for tracks, and more to be announced (maybe night/weather, we don't know)
- Brand new physics using raw data gathered by Pirelli

If that is what you class as just a few new cars and tracks and a lick of paint, you must be some princess diva..

Sounds REALLY good, I'm excited for this game. One thing I'd like is more interactivity with your garage, I haven't seriously researched this game so maybe what I'm asking for is already planned, but I'd love for you to be able to walk around your cars in your garage, open/close the doors, start the engines up, sit in the driver/passenger sides, open/close the windows, turn on the lights, sound the horn etc. Sure it's cheesy but I think it'd be fun.![]()

By just adding a few new cars and tracks? Sorry but like it s been said before, F4 from what we know now is just F3 with a lick of paint
Something guys Thomas from Fanatec has been itching to tell and show people about but couldnt...
Details:
First off there will be two models available. A “standard” and “elite”. The standard looks to come with what any other wheel would however the wheel is much beefier than the offical Xbox wheel and features metal construction. It also appears to come with a metal pedal set. The elite has a more stout electric motor which I would venture to guess has more accuracy than the standard. It also comes in a different housing and features a carbon fiber center piece. What really sets the elite version apart is that it can take attachments such as a handbrake or H-pattern shifter. I will try to get more info from the Fanatec guys tomorrow. I will also have some video of the wheel in action. In the meantime check out the pictures I shot of the wheel at the Forza Motorsport 4 exhibit.
See info here:
Pics coming.
Their will be full details announced later but it will be interesting to see the price points for each wheel.
Also the shifter should be supporting 7 not 6 speeds and the Handbrake is a first.

Debuting today at E3 2011 in the Forza Motorsport 4 section of the Xbox booth are two new Forza Motorsport-branded wheel coming from Fanatec: the “Forza Motorsport CSR” and the “Forza Motorsport CSR Elite.” Both wheels are designed to offer an incredible driving experience for Forza Motorsport 4 fans. Here are a few highlights of both wheels:
CSR:
Improved force feedback electronics and mechanics make the wheel stronger and faster
Metal CSR shifter set and large metal paddle shifters make shifting gears easier than ever
Lightweight aluminum wheel rim with Alcantara inserts allow faster, more responsive turns
CSR-Elite:
Wheel base fully made of metal with carbon fiber and Alcantara wheel rim
DirectSensor™ technology with sensor mounted directly on the steering axis. This avoids all the interference and performance loss you get from the belt/gear drive found on traditional motor-mounted sensor systems
Dual force feedback motors with 120Watt (silent big fan cooling) and very low cogging force to avoid “notchy” feeling
Pricing, availability, and additional details for both the Forza Motorsport CSR and the CSR Elite will be announced later this year.
While the CSR line of Fanatec wheels are meant for the serious racers in the Forza universe, we’ve got the more casual fans covered as well. Also arriving later this year is the upcoming “Wireless Speed Wheel” for Xbox 360. As the name implies, the Speed Wheel is a completely wireless controller designed for intuitive control and precise steering. The U-shaped design features standard controller buttons and haptic feedback with rumble. You don’t need Kinect to play with the Speed Wheel—it uses the same wireless signal as a standard Xbox wireless controller and is a good option for casual racers who value pure fun over setting lap records. The Wireless Speed Wheel will be available for $59.99 (U.S. ERP) and will ship to retailers worldwide beginning September 26, 2011.
Finally you can also expect new wheels from Madcatz that will also be compatible with Forza 4, including a force-feedback model that will cost $230 and a less expensive option as well.
