How do I join the OcUK car club?
How do I join the OcUK car club?
I posted this on the previous page, but here it is again...
FM4 at metacritic - 91%.
GT5 at metacritic - 84%.
That is a substantial difference for such flagship games.
). also a lot of people were expecting the moon w/ gt5 whereas expectations for FM4 are not nearly as high. let's give the console wars a rest. it's stale.
I don't believe we're not doing the console wars. Some rational comparison and opinion of a newly released title against it's biggest competition perhaps. That is all for the moment.

If you're friends with anyone in the club, then when you look for friend's clubs it will show up.
I think we can also invite you by gamertag, so you could post that in the club thread.
however, the one i am really excited about is rfactor 2 http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/
He's not saying they're worthless, he's saying that the amount of variation there could be in different scoring policies makes the difference between 91 and 84 less significant than it might at first appear.
Never heard of that before, but after seeing their trailer video, I think Forza4's environments need a bit of work. Blimey.
anyway i have liked both games in all their versions, but both get boring after a while, but any racing fan should be happy that we have 2 great racing games on console. however, the one i am really excited about is rfactor 2 http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/
tbh, there's a lot of PR politics involved in press reviews (ie buying ad space, giving out exclusives, making materials available, "gifts", diners and ofc those "trips" to see the game).
As someone has has done 50+ game reviews for multiple sites, I can assure you that this is not the case. If any company tried to "buy" a more favourable review from us, we would tell them to get stuffed. Virtually every game journo I know would never accept those conditions.
so,whats your favorite track in FM4?
for me - Hockenheim...race during evening with sunset is something...
That being said, I've been noticing that the environments are better than in FM3. I raced Sedona yesterday and it looks much better than in FM3.
Didn't realise this! "What platform it's on" was my next thing to figure out, but I had to rush out...rfactor 2 is a pc game, you would expect it to look better running on hundreds of pounds worth of hardware...
He appears to be saying that the review scores in question have been determined by the size of marketing war chests rather than game quality.
