Forza 4

November Speed Pack is out :)

Looks like we're waiting for a title update or something to be toggled on their servers before Season Pass owners can get our free download. :(

Aventador *drool* ;)

It's not up in-game for Season Pass holders yet, but you can get around that by downloading the free Scirocco R :)

If you have the season pass, and the DLC isn't showing as available to download in-game (The only way to redeem it supposedly), people say if you download the free Scirrocco R, you get all the cars in that download and it unlocks them all if you have the season pass..

I've held back so far on the season pack. If this pack is a indicator of what they are going to be like I'll just buy specific cars if they are interesting. Think the Lambo is the only car in this pack of any interest at the moment and I'm pretty sure I can cope without it anyway....

Aventador sound is borked. Engine makes no sound on idle and then all of a sudden kicks in. Doesn't happen directly behind car, but slowly bring the camera round and it'll just suddenly cut off. Very annoying.

2013 Focus ST looks great but any modicum of acceleration and the inside wheel starts spinning at the first sign of a slight variation from straight.

Definitely not going to bother then.
Not going to lie, the only reason I was thinking about buying the pack was so that I could buy the car, look at it and sit revving the engine :D

Buy a differential for it, and drop the acceleration locking. This will make the brakes worse though.

Failing that, don't press the accelerator so hard on the way out of corners ;)

i think you mean increase the acceleration locking ;)

something i found out in forza 3: upping the differentials acceleration setting to ~60 or 70% and then building the rest of the tune around that really helps the higher powered FWD cars get out of the corners.
sometimes you have to lower it to ~40% because you just cant get the tune to work like that, but it still helps massively

start off with fwd accel locking with 100% and see how it feels, lower it 5% at a time and check the front friction out of corners and try to get them matching so the inside is maybe only just spinning before the outer, all my fwd tunes have at least 90%. try decel locking pretty low for good chuckability power off into corners, 25-35% front roll bars at 1 and balance the car with the rear roll bar, 15-20'ish

if there's still loads of spin on the front simple answer is, too much power so unless you're willing to lose power for wider/softer tyres you'll need a light foot on the accelerater.

Really finding it difficult to play this at all at the moment. Battlefield 3 on pc is keeping me busy!
Always seems to be less people about online than there did on Forza 3 too.

I think from last week OCUK folk just seemed to disappear, never seems to be anyone online for race nights either.

I know I missed quite a few, but still!
