I'd skip Forza 5, its the worst of the series. Horizon is definitely worth a purchase, its great fun.
Skip 5, go for 6 and fh2 !
both very good games! forza 5 is not worth it because 6 is just a major improvement over 5 and 5 has nothing over 6 really
I'm getting annoyed that all the other cars handle better than mine, I think the game is giving me broken cars....
I'm always out braked and out dragged up a straight. Racing on Road America - a course I dislike for being so bland - is almost impossible without cutting corners.
The rewards are good for levelling up, so far i've got 1 million, then the cash for cars I had like a La Ferrari, Aventador, an Aston, etc.. and have about 4 mill after the little spree I had.
Funniest so far is trying to drag race my Willy's - it wheelspins in 5th at 160+...
(I will tune it properly later, but its on 225 rears..)

Jesushow they let you enter a night race with a car that has no headlights I do not know
Literally fluked le mans sarthe circuit with no lights. Managed 3rd placewhat a tense race.
yeah I think it's one of those things that got VERY over-looked.
LOL, I had the same thing a few days ago, I just followed the leader the whole race and nailed him into the last corner and took the win... I was driving some awesome 4wd Audi race car with no headlights around the Daytona infield circuit iirc.

You and me both. My cars go awfully slow in corners and chicanes and will not accelerate at all. To test a theory I did a race and then did the same track in the same car in a free drive. The car was much faster, behaved better, accelerated smoother in the free drive than in the race with other cars. I wonder if Forza is coded to slow the player's car down when its near other cars, more so than you would expect.I'm getting annoyed that all the other cars handle better than mine, I think the game is giving me broken cars....
The more I play this the more I'm hating certain things about the game now..... My bad points so far..
. The other cars handle better than yours
. The other cars are faster even when same
. The stupid steering that seems to limit the steering turn
. The lack of sense of speed especially in the faster cars
. The rain races are rubbish
. The cars feel like they have plastic tyres at times
. The braking is wrong and never feels good enough
. The lead car always seems to gain at least half a lap
. Getting caught up on the final lap
. You have to finish 3rd to progress
. DLC cars incorporated into the list from day one
. Let's you do night races with cars with no lights
. The AI is generally crap
. Pay to play early
. Not massively different to 5

Enjoying the game but really struggling with RWD and the lack of grip compared to the AI. Have the front and rear aero kit to adjust downforce, but it still wants to slide in every corner. The braking just doesn't feel right either, especially when the AI out-brake me on every corner.
Haha. That's the car I was using when it dumped me in a night race around le mans
The turbo noise from the audi racing quattro is amazing. Wish my ceed gt sounded like that I'm on the last chapter now. Pure race cars. I'm just doing the first volume with the le mans race cars. Wow these things are fast. Seriously fast.
Example.. My drivatar level is set to expert, and I'm lapping most cars. I even managed to lap second place at one point!

Turn 10 are supposedly looking in to the whole super drivatars that are seemingly impossible to catch. I've had it happen too but i am able to overcome it just barely in most races.

I always hate it when you're at the back and this somehow signals the drivatars to drive incredibly slow, brake checking everywhere lol. On the other hand when you're finally at the front of the pack they all drive perfectly infact so perfect that they overtake me at nearly all corners. Sheesh. Other than that i love it.

I absolutely hate wet races. The amount of sliding around that I go through and yet I see the AI cars barely troubled just annoys me so much. I hope Turn 10 introduced rain with the plan to improve it for Forza 6 with patches and massively improve it for Forza 7.depends what level you play on, I think mines is on expert? the one up the front is normally 10+ seconds ahead of me! so catching up to him is always last lap work and rarely do I get the chance to pwn it! out of 4 races I manage to beat it twice!
rwd cars are super slidy, I do enjoy it but it's weird seeing drivatars pull of in the same car full blow yet you struggle for traction.

Yeah very true. I am on Pro difficulty and am just about comfortable with this setting even though ive been prompted numerous times to try unbeatable. I think that setting would take me out of my comfort zone and have me pulling my hair out trying to catch the rabbit.
Don't even get me started on rwd especially the ones with several hundred horses. I touch the throttle with a feather and i still end up doing donuts round corners.
