Forza 6 announced

Is this your guys first Forza game? Of course this was going to be chargeable, Forza is one of the crappiest franchises with their content updates of what is/isn't included in the season pass/LE/UE that you buy.

No one should have expected this to be free or part of any premium edition.

Did you not read what the Ultimate Edition blurb? : "The Forza Motorsport 6 Ultimate Edition includes Forza Motorsport 6, VIP membership, the Forza Motorsport Car Pass, the Fast & Furious Car Pack, Forza Hub, and the Ten Year Anniversary Car Pack"

"The Car Pass brings you six monthly car packs (7 cars each) beginning in October 2015"

No mention of any expansion packs being included., plus EA want their pound of flesh from Microsoft customers for the Porsche license.

Not sure what the new deal is, but EA had it locked in until 2016. As per the announcement for Forza Horizon 2 in mid-2015 which dropped in a reference to FM6 it was always going to be a chargeable expansion pack. Those who blithely saw "Ultimate Edition" and didn't actually check what was included have no basis to complain.

It'll be the cover car for FH3, same as the Huracan was for FH2.

Won't they just skip straight to Forza 10 and make it the last version of Forza ever? ;)

Is it me and my awfully driving skills but are the Porsches quite understeer-y? I keep going wide on a lot of corners and smacking into walls. I have to keep coming off the gas to keep a tighter line. :o
Re Porsche expansion pack. I thought if you bought it for FH2 you got it for FM6 aswell.... must have misunderstood
I remember the FH2 announcement mentioning something about negotiating with Porsche for rights to add their cars to later Forza games. I wonder if Porsche wanted so much money for Turn 10 to be able to include Porsches that Turn 10 had to charge £15 for the FM6 Porsche pack but also to charge players of FH2 and FM6 twice.

No cayman Gt4 or 911 GT3?

WTF.

Pretty sure EA still have the license until later in the year. Maybe in a future DLC pack?

Is it me and my awfully driving skills but are the Porsches quite understeer-y?

Depends on the car. The engine is in the arse of the 911, so turning in on the brakes transfers more of the weight forwards. Then use the engine weight in the back to get traction out of the corner.

Tweaked up a Cayman GTS and it's pretty awesome. Forza have got the sounds nailed.

A far cry from Gran Turismo sound effects.
