Cheaper on CD Keys. Not noticed any issues myself.
Performance is a hit or miss, you can either risk it or wait for a discount. Personally, I wouldn't say it's unplayable for me but far from ideal. I have quite a lot of trouble getting past the splashcreen, can take as much as fifteen tries. Sometimes it works on the second try, it's completely random. Drops in the tuning menu are irritating.
Having said that, people say they have zero issues so you might be lucky.
All in all, still a good game but not particularly gorgeous apart from car models and skies so I hope there'll be some improvements to city perfromance and a fix for stuttering.

I had more issues with playing it on my X1, ie the opening screen freezes before the game loads. Doesn't happen on PC, in fact no problems on PC, can multi-task beautifully too since it's designed for Windows 10, which is a bonus if you're addicted to this forum.
No issues with Quantum Break either, all in all I'm a huge fan of buying an X1 game and being able to play it on my PC(better technically) if someone is watching the TV. Best thing Microsoft has done since getting EA Access. Imagine if that membership worked on PC... greedy EA.

Are the graphical glitches in Surfers Paradise the game or my GPU?
yeah im still undecided.. think the best thing for me is wait until a good deal pops up and grab it then

I'm getting 60 fps 90% of the time now. It may drop to the high 40s during certain weather and when the sun is coming up / down.
Still get a little bit of stutter every 30-45 seconds or so. Certain parts of Surfers Paradise are down to the high 40s, other parts 60 fps.
The latest Nvidia driver and the latest patch have required bit of tinkering to get back to the above performance. Stutter may have improved and built-up area fps has improved - the oil refinery area in the outback is now 50-60fps rather than 35 fps pre-patch.

Anybody having issues with their xbox 360 controller (wired) dying mid game? Seems to happen randomly to me, I'll lose all controls, quickly re-plug the thing back in and it sometimes resolves it.
Other times it only seems to be picking up the odd button input but is pretty much dead, works completely fine in every other game in I have, I can even press the xbox button after it 'dies' and it works fine to navigate through the friends list etc.
Getting pretty annoying recently!

Yes, definitely lower performance with the new drivers. Surfer's Paradise was the only place it dropped under 60fps before (minus the very occasional slight stutter).

I dont think you can move it to an SSD, same happened to me, I am re-downloading it
I've moved it between 2 SSDs without any issue, and same on the Mrs PC. Not sure what the limitations are, but it can work in some cases.

Yeah I have tried several times, before launch, at launch and now after this patch. I think I have re-downloaded the game 8 times by now!
I appreciate the suggestions, I just think something is up with the way they're trying to protect the game. Any time I try to do anything manually it tells me I don't have permission to do it. Even after I took ownership of the game folders I still wasn't allowed to do a lot of things like even copying and pasting any files within the folder. Hopefully it'll be looked at.

Nope, not at all. I don't have any idea why you think it sounds like that. I downloaded it to my second SSD first time and it failed, So I put it on my Windows SSD. Then I tried again after launch, and now again after the last patch.
