Morons on the other hand will literally try and T bone me out of first place and screw the team.

I don't think I've had a co-op race yet where I'll get barged off at best, or someone deliberately trying to make me miss a waypoint.

Eh how do you redeem the car from the car pass that's a few times now (Past two cars released) it comes up with a message saying it gets released on X date despite it being past that date.

I think you have to go into the menu where you get messages and notifications and click on the relevant bit

Yeah av tried everything this is what I get when pressing the button in the car pass section. Tempted to buy it in the auction house as its only 28k but kinda annoyed as I have payed for DLC to get it.

Has anyone been able to get this working on a 32:9 ultrawide monitor? Trying to get this to display full screen at 5120x1440p on a Samsung 49" G9 but it's not having it. Even though the resolution is displaying correctly in display options, it only shows in the middle of the monitor leaving a 1/4 of the screen left and right blacked out with nothing displaying there.

I might have to give up on this game. Every play becomes a struggle for it not to completely brain fart; either FPS tanks to single digits and I have to reconnect my controller to fix it or performance tanks and stutters for a short period and returns to normal but it's unplayable like this.

Yeah, it did similar in Forza 7 too. Infact all the PC Forza games.

It's the game engine as opposed to hardware as you say.

You're using bluetooth right? Does it effect any other games?

I used to have the same issue, xbox controller connected via bluetooth would tank the framerate and games would look like a slideshow.

My only real fix was buying the official xbox adapter for PC.

Argos do them which was convenient to pick up rather than buy online.

There's 2 gt40's you can collect. the '64 mk1 is the one you get when you collect i think 55-ish fords and the #2 mk2 gt40 is the top reward for this seasons's playlist.

Ahh yeah I spotted that.. I think I just need 2 more ford's now, or 1 once I've got the mk2, so I'll just have to buy one.. It's only the really expensive ones left but oh well.

It really isn't a great game. None of the Forza Horizons are that good, but out of the last 3, FH5 has to be the worst.
Where do we even begin to list what is wrong with FH5. The game may have been better if it was set in Japan like it had been rumored instead of Mexico (which is quite a boring place anyway and totally not suited for a driving game), but with cars that handle like a bar of soap on ice, what could possibly help?
As soon as you've played this game for just 30 minutes, you're already completely bored. The game gives you everything meaning there is just no sense of progression or challenge. Go and play any Project Gotham Racing on the Xbox, or Metropolis Street Racer - having to tweak and repeat laps over and over for maximum kudos keeps you glued to the screen.

The biggest issue for me with the horizon games is I don’t enjoy the exploration at all.

I just want to race.

The more linear horizon games were more enjoyable.

I don’t think the driving is as bad as you say, but I preferred how cars felt in Forza 7. Shame it’s been removed from gamepass…

Thanks and yeah it's BT though it's the only game I play with the controller. Will look at getting an adapter.

Can't even play this anymore due to the usual Xbox App/MS store rubbish. It stopped loading one day after a patch, constantly stuck with error messages. I ended up uninstalling it and trying to start again from fresh, only it's never been able to install again. It queues for ages before failing with an error, regardless of what drive I try, if I've reset the Xbox app etc. It's the only game to do this as well.

I've tried pretty much everything I can find online but nothing has worked, very frustrating as it looks like there's a good number of reports of this online.
