Seems like a very odd decision from Microsoft, I wonder if they're just thinking of sacking the Xbox off and focusing on games in the future, I know there were rumours of Halo going to the switch as well.
From what I can gather this month is the last month of new content/cars, after that it's just on tick over like the last games were cycling through the different playlists/rewards each week.
I still come back to do the weekly stuff, but whatever they've been doing to the game has left it in a bit of a mess as a single player experience, the AI might possibly be some of the worst I've ever seen in a game at this point. Rubber banding is one thing, but cars actively defying physics to weave all over the road with infinite mass to ram people off, or even brake check them to near stop is just odd.
I kind of hope they just put the series on the shelf for a couple of years and come back when there's real upgrades/improvements they can make.
