Forza Motorsport 2 Car and Skins show off thread.

Yay! managed to get my hands on a World Exclusive by a very talented designer, it was initally set by him as a 1 design per car 10 car limited edition, but i was lucky enough to recieve this gift (Traded via arranged AH payment to stay locked, not actually Gifted..!) of The Angel Carerra!

Again, i didn't make this, didn't design it, wish i had the skill but am so glad i got this beauty! :D

nice so far, I can see it's not going to be easy
painting a human face and arm in so much detail is always going to be about as difficult as it gets since proportions have to be so perfect, I don't think I have the patient for that yet.

Exploding mans proportions are tricky enough..... :rolleyes: ;)

tell me about it, its been a nightmare so far lol, its so layer heavy now i only have about 30 layers left, i'm debating scrapping and starting over, unless i can remove some layers without it going a total mess

The supporting hand looks good, don't touch it but the main forearm looks a bit bulky, you could probably take some layers out and reduce it's size a touch, atleast make the wrist bones more apparent. I'd probably put a few fient gradients over the forearm too, flesh coloured, to bring all the layers below closer together in tone.
The face is pretty nice as it is, maybe the nose is a fraction big but it would be a matter of a pixel here and there to adjust it. The ear needs moving though, it looks like it's on his neck.... although I could understand it needing to be low if his head is leant over towards the camera.

Thats a lot of layers to tweak though :o
I'm glad I saved the different parts of my paint job as different vynal groups, makes it easy to tweak the overall result for different cars.

The Hiro and Dino only has 3 copies sold so far, other than one gifted to a friend, each one is on a different car and numbered.

Liking them all but the Hiro & Dino one is easily the one I liked best. It's Hiro after all. If you considering selling another give me a shout.

There may well be as many layers as the Hiro and Dino image in the end, getting the subtle fades and different colours means lot of very feint layers.

I'll definetly sell a few more Hiro cars, I originaly planned to sell 10 numbered ones, so there's still 7 to go. So far they've all be bought with a 1million buyout. I'll paint one up after watching Layer Cake, will have to find a car that looks good in black.

I really should remember to take pics before I put on the AH :rolleyes:

My Rothmans Porsche 959 is on for the night, and I have just finished and put on AH a FERRARI 575 GTC GPC GIESSE SQUADRA CORSE replica (the number 11 version).
Complete with the race splitters/spoilers and wheels, take a peek;) I am pleased with it, I cant do the anime stuff, but with some time, race liveries are within my abilities :)

If the seller is Majikthese, then thats mine :D
