It basicly means they end up having sold a locked car and the buyer recieves it, yet the seller still has the same car in their garage to sell again, and again....
People are even doing this to duplicate locked cars then sell them on ebay. (which could be one way to get them banned)
There's some talk of people being able to unlock designs aswell, although it seems to be less reliable. Then they could simply put the paint job on any car and sell it hundreds of times.

I think what we could all do with is a car registering/search website.
When you make a design you up load some pics of it (possibly standardised angles) and register your gamertag as the original designer.
Then people can come to that site and search for avalible designs in catagories like movies, bands,tv shows, anime etc.
This would help people get in contact with designers for orders, and is a nice way to 'claim' your designs when you make them so that spammers cant repost them as thier own work (which is something I have seen many times on the offical forums) Also it would stop the questions of 'has a ........ car design been done already'
Combine that and the preffered buyer list or rather the unprefered part of the list and we could have a good way of running the scumbags out.

Turn 10 better sort this out or the AH will get even worse then it already is. I was on there early this morning and saw 2 lambo's going for what I think was billions. How the hell can the average gamer get millions, let alone billions?

I am at lvl 39 right now, and have managed to make some cash through auctions, although I also buy a lot of cars, my credit balance is currently around 2.7M. I doubt I have had more than 7-8M if I added it all up and hadn't spent a credit
On another note, you can pick up reasonable auctions if you watch .. I got a maxed out Koni CC8S for 200k with a common paint job, I put stock paint back on and then checked details ... car was worth 275k scrapped lol !
Considering its a level 45 or something car, I thought it was a bargain.

According to one of the achievement sites the exploit is basically people using that memory card dongle thing to back up there saves on a PC. Then you can sell all your cars and simply re-load the back up back on to a memory card and you have all the cars you had back. repeat and rinse.
These also another method involving two accounts that allows you to build up money even faster but again you need to back up saves etc. and it's quite long winded to explain but it's easy to see how people have acquired billions in credit.
