Vogon: Gimmie a few days and it'll be done, I have a busy life.

As sexy as that Cayman is, you know what i'm gonna say...

if it aint 4WD, don't cat in it ;)

You'll end up spending 50% of your time recovering from spins & just wheelspinning! :(

that is absolutely amazing, totally perfect rendition :)

how many layers did that use ?

I just about restarted my Rothmans 959, deleted a lot of the original work id done as wasnt happy enough with it. Its really sad the amount of time ive spent on this car.

The stripes are very difficult for this car and small jaggies tend to show at times. Still its looking better than it was originally and its very accurate to the original. I'm not starting another car till i get this one finished with the rest of the required logos and its fully to my liking.

Has anyone seen any other Rothman 959's, im curious to how mine would compare? Going to lock this when its finished and flog a few considering the time ive spent on it. Not gonna be cheap ;)

Not sure to do one with a mud effect or not. Still ive only started toying around with some dirt/mud effects.

@ ljt, excellent work on Dastardly and Mutley, it amazes me what can be done with the in game tool when you get as good as you guys are.
I look forward to seeing your work for my project :D

@ Mr Latte, Great stuff, I did a rothmans 959 although its not as accurate as yours, I was finding the jaggies to look poor and didn't have the patience to work around them and some of the car stretching points, so used some artistic licence :p

You may get more luck than me, but I didn't get any nibbles on mine despite it not being a large amount over the dealer cost.
My method with my own paints is to do one car then auction it if it goes, do another and carry on until it doesn't sell anymore, then keep that one :)

My most sucsessful one was a replica of a Giesse/Inno Ferrari 550 Marenello race livery, helped by the fact I got 50% discount at the dealer so could sell it with a nice mark-up, and still not charge too much more than the dealers full price :)

Actually I took it around Lagun Seca a few times as soon as I bought it and its handling is nearly perfect :). Even with traction control off I had no wheelspin off the line at all and it didnt seem to have any throughout my test. Anyway i most likely wont be able to use it as a cat because well....you know...I never get to be one :p and according to you its because of my ub3r grip tyres that i manage to put on without affecting PI.

Great work on Phooey I have seen quite a few requests for him over on the official forums so I would post it one up there if I were you. ;)

Latte I have seen 2 others over on the official forums from memory they were not as well made as yours (of course that could be blatant flattery to get you to enter my TT comp/and make a chocolate bar themed car design) :p

Best place to post it would be the Real race livery thread they have going there.
