Forza Motorsport 2 Car and Skins show off thread.

nice paint jobs guys. i havent actually had chance to even put my disk in my console yet :( the only downside to having girlfriend i guess. lol :p

i like the cars that copy similar paint jobs/decal jobs of real world cars, like the bright yellow penzoil skyline, i love the paint scheme on that :D
 
guys can I ask how you're getting the images onto the PC? Haven't had a chance to load FM2 yet (it's killing me, but tonight I will embark) so I don't know if you're actually exporting images or feeding the source to your pc somehow.

Copy and paste the pic from the forza site onto ya pc then upload them to a hosting site.

I havent done it yet but im assuming they are uploading the photos to forzamotorsport.net via the 360 and just grabbing them from there.

EDIT: Doh you beat me by half a second on the quote :P
 
Theres an option whenever you take a picture to upload it to the forza website. Login there with your passport account and there you go.

Liking the golf a lot there. Although, i might be biased.. if you check out mine on the first page.. racing stripes.. gradients.. manufacturer decals.. :p

Gonna finish off the jaguar today i think.

Heh, cheers, its probably my background, went to an arts sixth form.. i just really enjoy it.. even the fiddly bits.. my favourite painting was landscape, used to love doing trees with all the individual branches..

Just spent 10 minutes ignoring my porridge and recreating the ART logo for my jag.. another vinyl group saved.. :p
 
Just had a play trying to follow the tutorial on the forza forums, and I'm officially rubbish at trying to do proper pictures :rolleyes:
 
Cheers, its not accurate due to the odd way they designed the Union Jack.. so I just make it symmetrical.

When I was looking through the action house and saw nobody had done it, I just had to!
 
Finally.. done.. I recreated all logos except for the michelin, so anything you see has been made up of primitives or similar.
