I liked the first one, but I'm not a fan of buying something if the only thing they have improved are the graphics. I haven't really been looking into the game, should probably go read up on it.

Tbh dirts particle effects etc are impressive but the hdr bloom effect is a bit over the top.

Well I managed a quick hours play last night, and it was great fun

. Started in Europe as I wanted a change from the usual Subaru, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Toyota cars. I picked the Saab 93 as my first car and after a few upgrades it goes quite well. Not sure how much more I can do to it before the front wheels just spin and I go nowhere!

I must say that the AI is rather slow; I playing on professional level and have no problem getting big gaps between me and 2nd place on a 3 lap race.

It's all to do with the PI rating of your car..

If you put AI on hardest, and have a car with the same PI, i've found them to be very good!!!

But you can just mod your car, or choose one with a much higher PI and wipe the floor with them..

Done the 3 races to get into amatuer a few mods, there is quite an overwhelming amount of stuff you can do! I can see me getting very addicted to this

Damn, did not realise it had a GTI and an RS4..

On that reason alone I think I am going to have to buy it...

Trouble is, I have played the DIRT demo much more than the Forza one, in particular the crossover track, just find it totally addictive. But is it reason enough to buy dirt? the buggies were a little poor and the hill climb was a bit on the boring side..

hmmm, looking for inspiration!
