Just found out, and done something very cool thanks to Jube on neogaf and his youtube page with LOTS of paint/design tutorials:

Thanks to this I was able to chrome lip my wheels on my MX5, it basically consists of buying normal 3rd paryt none chrome wheels, painting whatever colour you want them, then changing the rim to one of the following:

Haman edition race
Rota JSPL
Holeshot hole star
Tenzo rs-5

There might be one or two more, but as of now haven't seen news of any, it will take you from this:

The only downside is, due to the game using lower LOD models in races than menus/photomode, in a race you'll get the chrome wheel design with the coloured spokes AND rim, going into photomode switches to higher level LOD model for your car only, so gives you the chrome/polished lip for your pics :)

How does video export work? I gather they are fairly large files that you don't want to be uploading to a website straight off the console.
 
Had a little mess about but to busy racing to get into modding properly, That'l come later. :cool:





I have to say the game is Everything I dreamt it would be. :cool:
 
If anyone has any good links to tutorials for this I will be happy to edit the OP and put links in it to decent tutorials for those interested.
