I like both in their own way, however the AI in Forza 7 can be a pain in the butt and lead to the first lap being not much more than bumper cars which can be annoying.

In a way yes, and in a way it seems more malicious than that and even with limited aggression they seem to have no problems with taking you out.
@Mario - I can't recommend F7 Motorsport to anyone when it still has random crashes and terrible A.I regardless of opinion. It's a stunning looking game, it is quite fun but as an overall experience it's just average.
The reason I would recommend Forza 3 Horizon is simply because your getting more for your money, a better overall experience and a solid arcade racer.
You know the one thing that really grates me though is the lack of 21:9 ultrawide support in FM7. You can play it at your monitors default resolution but the menus, photo mode and everything else is stuck at 16:9 with massive black bars either side. FH3 has full 21:9 support in menus, photo mode and everything else out of the box, there was no patching or updating just an all round better product.

No game without issues 
I have no problems really with FM7,i turned off AI agression and its ok for me,i had only 2 crashes,so cant speak about those really,i play on XB1 and on PC depending how lazy i am.In fact,i had few more crashes on XB1 than on PC,but then again as is with PC's all systems different.
And i really like game,bar few problems which probably will be ironed out eventually,was the case with Apex when they launched it.
BTW-if any want to add me,my XBL is pushaz99,im just average,so at least rivals will be yours

How's this game now? I wanted to grab the standard edition since it's discounted but are there still problems with downloading etc.? Does DS4 v2 work with the game? I couldn't get it to work in the demo...

Ooh, I have a PS4 to play my Blu Rays but I wouldn't mind a piece of GT Sport if it's on sale, cheers !!
As for Forza 7, well theres been some discussion in the previous posts over the last few days. It's good and it's bad basically and I prefer F3H on PC!
I use a PS4 controller in F7M if that helps.
Thanks, I really like FH3 (still haven't 100%'d it but it's a great game to have for shorter sessions) and I'm sure I'll like this one for different reasons judging from the demo. Just don't want to run into issues as WS is a piece of **** TBH and I had plenty with Horizon so I'm settling for the standard edition this time round. Regarding DS4, maybe there are compatibility isuses with the v2?
As for GT Sport, hurry up then as the deal ends tomorrow at midnight (I think)
Current price is actually closer to what they should've asked for the game in the first place and offline career and new cars drop tomorrow with the promise of 50 new free vehicles till March 2018, so it's a pretty good moment to grab it. New circuits are also planned but no ETA so far.

While i'm building a new PC, discovered Forza 7 plays very well on an Xeon X5660 & GTX 980, just for reference if this helps anyone out.

Umm... is this a serious question or are you joking? Horizon 3 supports DS4 no problem and according to Turn 10 this game does too.
The menus show keyboard prompts even though my Driving Force GT wheel is fully supported and working. You sure the DS4 isn't actually functioning?
Got this running at near max graphic settings at 1080p60 on my R9 290 (only MSAA and shadows turned down a bit). It's a very well optimised game, on my hardware at least.

I didn't know that, my point was is that it's a Microsoft game and it's intended for their consoles/PC so equaling to an Xbox controller. Then again I prefer the Xbox controller over the DS4 anyway so that was my main thought.

Horses for courses. I prefer the location of the d-pad on the Xbox controller and the general feel of the controller. Vastly superior for my use, I do have big hands though so that's probably why.
