i guess we all have different ideas of convenience
for me it would be no messing about. Just boot up, start gaming, not including some wireless keyboard i need every now and then

Except it's not any more, now it's boot up, upgrade Xbox software, log back in to live, put in disc, install game, download and install patches and finally crack on.
