Found a cheap courier service for MM transactions!

Problem is you hear a lot of horror stories about them, I wouldn't trust them personally.
About 6 weeks ago I used to get a pickup arranged for my speakers. Put order in, paid, no pickup was made. Took me about 3 weeks, 5 phone calls and about 10 e-mails to get my money arranged to be paid back, then about 5 more days to have it appear in my PayPal account. Will never use them again.

This service looks great though, apart from they use DHL which is the courier service of the devil :P Nearly as bad as ParcelForce and their lunchtime football games with peoples parcels. Any other people being use this service recently? Wondering if they are definetly good to use over regular things like RM.

Is it possible for them to collect say after 3pm as im normally at work/college every day and waiting in really isn't the option.

Nope don't think you can pick a slot due to the nature of the slots they are given cheaply... but it seems to be late-day slots for the most part rather than early. :)

Finally sold my old laptop on the bay, this time it wasn't a Nigerian that went for the buy it now so it's all good.
Have went for PayPerDrop for delivery, bought a delivery thing then filled in the booking form, is that all I need to do? Is there anything I need to print off?

From the feedback on the bay and from here it looks like it's a pretty good service at a much nicer price than RM. :)

ive arranged a collection from them for today

no sign of anything yet and I cant even contact anyone to find out a time :(

what time in the day do they usually collect?
and is it dhl?

thanks

thanks just had a browse

not impressed tbh

second day and still no collection from DHL it was re arranged as they didnt arrive yesterday and now today still nothing

i spoke to them earlier and they did say collection is all the way upto 7pm, but its not looking good tbh

ontop of that DHL are pretty good down my end (through parcel2go :p)

ah well guess I'm not going to be using them in a rush again

Hmm shame man... but I guess there are always going to be some problems with every courier service. :(

Update us at 7pm. :)

I used them for a MM transaction with Richdog. They didn't arrive on the scheduled date (DHL), neither the next day (you need to email them if they don't arrive as per the confirmation of purchase email). On the third day they arrived in the morning, around 10am I believe, worked out in the end. It might be an issue at the DHL end, they seem to be especially useless where I live through previous experience.

On the plus side, for what you get it's very cheap. If you are indoors for a two or so days I don't see the issue (I was revising at the time).

i rung them in the morning and i emailed them yesterday as the confirmation advised, but still nothing.

with parcel2go, i book it in the morning before 10:00am and they collect the same day around 12:00 - 1:00

I managed to get some brakes, discs and pads (heavy stuff) delivered to me today - I bought them on another forum.

For £6, I couldn't fault it. I think the guy posted them on Friday, and they arrived in perfect condition today. It was delivered by DHL, and said "economy" on the box.

today was torture lol

get the popcorn out :D

rant on/

1st thing in the morning i rung up to complain ;)
they were apologetic as usual and promised to re arrange collection today with high priority and am collection, the guy was going to email me to confirm after he spoke to dhl, how nice lol. anyways about 3hrs later i got an email from them saying "was this re booked for today ", so again 20mins on the line and I get through to the same guy who didnt put it through for collection today , im getting a bit peeved off here, anyways apologies again and I asked if i can drop it off at the local depot?

Yep fantastic idea, he goes local is somewhere in trafford park about 6 miles from me, anyways he gives me the reference number and will call be back in 15 mins with the address. an hour later still nothing??? so i did a bit of hunting and called dhl and asked if i could drop it off at the depot, they say sure heres the local depot in Warrington 25 miles away LOL, there was no depot in trafford park.

Back on to Payperdrop to give them a peace of my mind, same guy answered and had no proper reason why he didnt contact me earlier , i called it a day and aske dfor them to cancel the booking and refund me my payment after giving me 3 days of nonsense, "the refund will need to go through another department but should be done in 10 mins" and that was oooh 4 hours ago. (yep as you guessed, no refund)

i had rebooked it at 2:30 with parcelforce (£15.00) and its sitting with them 3 and a half hours later, thank god lol

/rant off

Sounds like there is a varying degree of texture, I got a rough end, sounds like you got the end encrusted with diamonds madness. lol. Not sure if I'd use these guys again, they were very unreliable - but other people seem to have had a seamless transaction. Isn't life unpredictable!

It sounds like every other delivery company. It totally depends on your local sorting office.

well the funny thing is that DHL are very good here (Manchester)

through parcel2go and staples i've had no trouble at all

delivery is usually nice and early
and when i book through parcel2go they collect same day within a couple of hours

once i booked just before 10am and they were here 12:30

i was going to use parcel2go today with the rebooking but it was still DHL and i was a little put off :) so parcelforce it was

Clicked on this service yesterday - I'm still waiting for the guy to pop round. Quite annoyed actually since I could have made lectures this morning...
