Found a cheap courier service for MM transactions!

Used them twice (6 parcels in total), never had a problem. They collected on the day arranged (once at about 1pm once about 11am), parcels got delivered safe and sound.

I used them to deliver some routers that must have been close to the weight limit, sent next day in a massive box all for £6.99, with Royal Mail it probably would have cost me £30+ for next day insured and signed for

yeah why not...still waiting on the van to turn up at my end. I did pop out this morning for a bit - but I rang them up and was told if I missed them, they'd leave a card through the door which they haven't.

ok well after the 3 days of carp i got from them (3 failed collection attempts) the customer advisor said he will refund me the £5.99 because of all the hassle etc.. this was the 19th of sept, i sent them an email reminder the next day still nothing,so i started a dispute with paypal and its been 7 days and they havent responded, no email or info to paypal towards the dispute, so i now left it up to paypal to decide the outcome

i probably wont get anywhere as it was "service" i paid for and paypal are useless most of the time, also £5.99 is not much tbh but any hassle i can give them back is a good thing, still wont compensate for the torture i been through, btw just pray to god you wont get through to "Adam" if you call them, hes a cheeky little liar lol

well i was told latest cut off time for collection is 7pm

and also on 2 occasions DHL delivered parcels like 8:30pm, the courier came in a yellow Fiat Seicento on 2 occasions to drop off the parcels lol

im serious!

ok heres my update

got a refund from paypal via dispute
(ppd didnt even bother for the dispute)

anyway got my refund and as soon as i did ppd had the cheek to email me
to tell them i owe them £5.99 lol, probably an automated email

heres another ebay courier (parcelforce this time)

£6.99 next day service, £150 insurance, 3 delivery attempts

also noticed ppd reduced the price to £4.99 now, although i would never use them again

You find some excellent couriers on ebay. I remember when i was looking for a courier for my alloys, i used a place called alloys2u.co.uk, got next day delivery for 4 alloys, insured up to £1k i think and they were half the price of people like parcel force for their 48 hour service.

EDIT: yayayayay 2000th post!

used parcel2go today, booked it in the morning about 11, they picked it up at 3
£6.33, 1.34 more pays for reliability :) ... still dhl though
