Found a large spider when i got home.

OK i know it isn't big by black widow standards but it does seem quite large for a british house spider, its body at any rate is a lot bigger than a daddy long legs, I wonder if their are any arachnid experts who can identify it.

And here's one with some ethernet cable for size comparison.

Looks like LewisStuart is about right, although it looks a bit longer than 7-11mm to me!
