These are great to have in your house as they eat other spiders and bugs you have round, only thing that annoys me is the messy little webs they leave in corners. They are tough little critters, I fed one a cricket that had a much bigger body size and the house spider took it down easily.

its the suprise of spiders that terrifies me. if someone said "theres a spider the size of my face in the corner of your room so look when you go in" id be fine. but if i wasnt expecting it then god help me

Same here. We used to have a few MASSIVE ones in my garage. I mean they were so big it was just scary. They were FAST as well.

I've had a couple big ones around here as well which have scared the crap out of me when I found them.

The pipe in this picture is just under 4 inches wide.

The body on this one was 1.5 inches long not including legs. Haven't seen one that looks like this before. It did have more legs but it walked with them tucked under its body.

Its so funny, a 4 inch spider is apparently HUGE, yet when other things are 4 inches they get laughed at for being tiny .
