I think the saying that a blunt knife is more dangerous than a sharp one only works up until a certain point..
Getting chilli in a cut after being a spaz with a knife, christ it hurts! more than when you rub your nose/eyes after cutting them upI always wear disposable gloves to cut them up now
any knife is bloomin dangerous especially when poor technique combines with trying to copy the TV Chefs
This much is true
You get used to good sharp knife after a few years. On the rare occasion I cut myself with my Global, it's cos I've not kept it sharp. Or I'm drunk. Or both. Usually both.
6 pints of Stowford press cider + no food (eating is cheating) + razor sharp global + spring onion = 4 hours sat in casualty and a very grumpy wife.
