FourFourTwo's Top 100 (this should be fun)

Shamikebab talking about me, must be one of those days ending in Y

Why do you talk to me/about me? It's strange, I don't like you, get over me x

must say its a strange top100! Some of the players in the list were good in their day but have somewhat passed it now so if they're still in the top100 it shows quality is going down the pan!

The one that immediately jumped out at me was Nasri at 27! Higher than Nani,Eto'o, Bale, Mata, Robben. Not for me

Also, i don't know how this was done, on recent form or whatever, but Tevez should be much higher imo (though if it is on recent form then obviously not)

I find your constant need to debate Wayne Rooney tiresome as well, can't be both of us who are the ones that's obsessed ;)

I think Tevez is trying to make it into Four Four Two's golf top 100 list :p Spot on about Nasri too, 27, er, no. Well, there really are too many to list. It's just pointless.

Very hard to make a list like this, but they could use some sense!

Rooney in the top 10?

Kompany at 35?

Wilshire in the top 100?

Ferdinand in the top 10000?

NO!

According to their website it is based on the top 100 players right now, so presumably their form goes somewhat in to making the list, especially if you read the rest of their "How we picked" explanation. If this is the case, then why are we seeing Torres, Essien and Gerrard on this list?

Cause there still big names rightly or wrongly but none should be there if its based on form, Id easily take Rooney from 6th and put Aquero/Fabregas/RVP in his place though,

Nasri at 27? That's got to be some kind of joke. How can they rate him over Nani, Y Toure, Bale, Van Der Vart? He had one half of a decent season at Arsenal but has done naff all at City. Balotelli is 88 and he's been far better for City than Nasri, both on the field and entertainment off the field.

Whole list is a joke, it reads somewhere between, inability for people to be objective, transfer fee's, idiots thinking FM is even slightly accurate or realistic(it gets the spelling of the names right, that's about where accuracy starts and stops in that game).

Coentrao, Ramos, pique, Marcelo, 2 of those are pretty rubbish defenders, one cost 30mil and is barely worth 5mil, and Pique isn't terrible at all, but top 10, lol Puyol 58th, Pique 8th, Ozil, the whole thing is completely and utterly laughable.

Lampard, in probably the strongest league over the past decade, the single most consistent goal scorer and assist maker in the entire league, is below Nasri, Mata, Evra, Sneijder, a guy who afaik has scored 11 or more goals twice in his career, and hasn't broken 12 assists(in the time assists have been logged, 4-5 years for Sneijder on ESPN), while Lampard blows him away in all out scoring, assists, and consistency.

Are you seriously suggesting at this stage in both their careers that Lampard is better than Sneijder?

Regarding Busquets - if you look at the stats that go long with the list you'll see he has the highest pass completion rate in the world. Now, those who say he's overrated well probably say "well, that's because all his team mates are so good they give him the opportunity for simple passes". But surely you can also argue that one of the reasons Barca are so good is because of his accurate passes to the "good" players?
