Fps averages?

one thing I'm not sure if this is normal / standard but on the right hand side of my setup
there is NB freq now this is fluctuating a lot from aprox 802.2mhz to 2105.5
it is never sitting stable?

I would check to see what temperature your CPU is running at. Could be throttling.
You might just need to reseat the cooler.

also on my cpu core speed it is going from 802.5mhz to with the multiplyer reading x8.0 (8-42)
upto corespeed at 2105.5mhz + multiplier 25.0 ?
seems a lot of fluctuating going on with the cpu and the memory ?

my machine was setup by ocuk
so they have done all the testing benchmarking as far as I'm aware.
it should all be set fine
the cpu is overclocked to 4.5ghz

cpu cores are running at 30.0,30.1,30.0,31.0
on all the cores
I think that is ok?

Looks ok for idle so itl probably be ok running at load too. Better check just in case.

Might also be worth a shot resetting the bios aswell to default too and rerun the test. Even ocuk can make mistakes :D

yeah but if i reset the bios i dont know how to put my overclock back..
so im not sure i should mess about with it ?

ok i will run this test and then see what my results are.,
if it is the cpu.
will i just contact ocuk and then will i have to send the whole system back to them?

I don't think it will be difficult to sort out as it will just be a few settings in the bios if it is the CPU.

I don't use the same platform as you so I know very little about your bios settings but there will be people here who know a lot more than me who can help.

Failing that then yes contact OcUK and see what they say.

Looking at your Firestrike score your graphics card is performing fine as the graphics score is where it should be.

Its very rare that a faulty cpu underperforms. They either perform perfectly or are just dead. There will be something causing your issue that is fixable.

strange as also this system is meant to be clocked at 4.5ghz and it is showing 4.1?
so it seems something is not quite correct.
and the cpu test it does not look to good.

Definitely not setup right

As Lokken86 said above it is very unlikely that the CPU is faulty as it just would not run at all.

It will be a setup problem in the bios.

If you don't get any replies here or in the CPU section of the forums try giving OcUK a ring in the morning and see what they say.
