They don't produce it, they license it from CCR. It's defiantly a grind game.

ive uninstalled RF online, will get some of the others a go, but might get guild wars the next time i go to town

As already said, all the free ones are free for a reason and that is basically because no one would ever pay for them as they are crap. You get what you pay for

The best Free one back in the day was ROSE Online, was epic.

Anarchy Online is free for a year

Archlord - the pve grind on this makes even koreans cry

Guildwars - everyone knows about this, not free to buy but no monthy payments for what you get it is a very good game

Free for a year isn't strictly accurate. once a year the publishers tell everyone that the 'froob' version is going to be free for a year. but, every year since its inception at the end of '04, funcom have extended this.

I've been looking at the Archlord game that was mentioned it looks good from the screenshots and wondered is there a buffer class in the game? There doesn't seem to be much info on skills for the classes on their website. I love to buff and heal people.

It is a grind fest just so you know, i bought it thinking it looked good and got bored and stopped. I will see if i can dig up my account so you can try before you buy it if you mail my trust

but if you do play as soon as you log on there will be a hundred people offering you equipment which looks good (but isnt really as its lowbie stuff) for your credits
You basically get free credits when you start which you buy buffs and bonuses with, these you need to pay for with real money otherwise hence why people try and get them off newbies
They are far better than any armour they will offer you
