Free Sat Not working as intended

You can record 8 channels at once if needed.
Using a Firestick with KODI and an Enigma2 plugin you can access the box from any room in the house.
My wife regularly uses 4 rooms in the house so has a Firestick setup in each of them.
You can add IPTV to it.
it can also access my NAS where I have loads of stuff on it.
It's just a superior product which we can't do without now.
Recording channels is like so 2002

Sounds like a firestick will do the same job overall except recording and getting live TV. For that reason, I am out

Mostly crime documentaries and we can skip through the adverts.
Sitting on the hard drive are well over 100 documentaries and of course Mrs Sexy will record Coronation Street so she can skip through it.
So if recording channels is so 2002 do you watch everything live with all that wasted time of adverts?
Why do you want a satellite receiver if recording is so 2002?

nah if i need to catchup i use iplayer, itv player etc

i dont really need a sat receiver i was just interested in getting free SAT as I understand there are more channels on there vs freeview but it might be equal
the thought of having both free sat and free view on my tv was the purpose of this thread. :)

Apologies, I did go back to your original post last night only asking about your TV but I was watching a recorded programme with zero adverts :)
It's amazing how people will waste around 15 minutes a programme on adverts.

I don't consider peeing and making tea wasted. It's just a shift of habits :) (Or a reluctance to break old ones!)

I do sometimes get frustrated watching a BBC show/film that there are no opportunities to nip to the loo/get snacks.
